Overview of the Course
Our forklift truck training covers the functions required to operate a forklift truck and (if competent) apply for a high-risk work licence. This forklift license course course is for beginners as well as experienced operators. Our experienced high risk work trainers work with participants to ensure they are confident and competent in operating a forklift truck.
Course Duration
The duration of the course is 2x 8 hour days OR 3x 8 hour days (this is recommended for students with no experience or those with English as a second language).
Certification
Participants who are deemed competent will receive a Statement of Attainment recognised under the Australian Qualifications Framework. This certification is nationally recognised.

Assessment Requirements
Assessment will include knowledge, calculation and practical testing. Full details of assessment requirements will be provided on the first day of the course.
Resource Requirements
Enclosed shoes, appropriate work clothing, current photo I.D.
What Are the Entry Requirements?
- All students must be over 18 years of age.
- Students must reside in Victoria, or, if they are not a Victorian resident, have a valid reason for applying for their forklift licence in Victoria.
- Participants are required to have general good health and fitness. Any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the training must be disclosed prior to attending.
- Speak English clearly
- Explain, describe and verify sometimes complex needs and issues

Worksafe Licence information
Upon successful completion of our forklift licence training course, trainees will be issued with a WorkSafe Notice of Assessment (which can be lodged at Australia Post or online via myworksafe.vic.gov.au along with the lodgement fee of $68.80) and a Statement of Attainment.
