Course Description
This nationally recognised unit is designed to provide participants currently working or intending to work at heights and operate elevated work platform in VIC, with the knowledge and skills to safely work in any height situation.
The course is primarily aimed at general construction, maintenance, mining, large factories or other work situations. The course content includes occupational health and safety awareness, identifying and controlling hazards, fall arrest and fall restraint systems and equipment selection and use.

Entry Requirements
AVT has the following entry requirements:
Students must:
- Participants must be at least 18 years old.
- Can use the English language at a level that enables the safe performance of high-risk work.
- All participants complete a Learning, Literacy and Numeracy Assessment at the time of booking, and to discuss any specific learning needs currently.
- Participants are required to have general good health and fitness and any pre-existing medical conditions that will affect the training must be disclosed prior to attending.
